Lower Secondary

Lower Secondary starts from Grade 7, equivalent to Year 8, to Grade 8, equal to Year 9. Please check our Grade / Level equivalency sheet here.

MOE: Arabic, Islamic Studies, Social Studies, Moral Studies

Cambridge International Curriculum: English, Mathematics, Sciences, Digital Literacy, Coding, Art &Design, and Physical Education

Other programs: Urdu Lessons, well-being, Sustainability, Environmental Awareness, Community Service, entrepreneurship, and leadership skills

The MOE curriculum is built on the foundation of the UAE’s cultural heritage, Islamic values, and national identity. Overview of the Cambridge International Curriculum

Good Will Children Private School is an accredited Cambridge International School that is part of a vast international network of over 10,000 Cambridge schools in more than 160 countries. We offer the Cambridge International Curriculum for Primary and Lower Secondary levels to prepare your child for IGCSE, O, and A-level examinations.

Lower Secondary (Grade 7/ Year 8 to Grade 8/ Year 9)

During the Lower Secondary years, our students delve deeper into subject areas, building on the skills acquired in the Primary Years. The curriculum includes diverse subjects, emphasizing Science, where students explore Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. In addition to core subjects, students continue developing their English, Mathematics, and Digital Literacy proficiency. Our teachers facilitate critical thinking and problem-solving, preparing students for more advanced academic challenges and developing their ability to analyze and apply knowledge effectively. Integrating digital literacy equips students with essential skills for the digital era, enabling them to navigate and utilize technology effectively.

Language Focus Lessons
